Robotic loading for new and existing CNC machines
RoboJob develops loading systems for CNC lathes and machining centers from different manufacturers. The systems can also be retrofitted, helping you make better use of an existing machine without immediately investing in another machine tool.
Together with RoboJob, we advise you on suitable automation. We consider your workpieces, batch sizes and how long the machine needs to run without manual part loading.
The RoboJob loading systems at a glance
Turn-Assist for CNC lathes
Turn-Assist handles loading and unloading for lathes. Its stacking table holds raw and finished parts on a small footprint. Depending on the application, the system can be extended with a turnover station or a shaft-handling solution.
Mill-Assist for milling machines and machining centers
Mill-Assist provides automatic loading for milling machines. Its table and grippers can be adjusted to different workpieces. A turnover station can be added for machining the second side. Integrated or separately positioned components are available to suit the machine layout.
Further systems for different batch sizes and workpieces
- Coby CNC – a compact cobot solution for small, lightweight workpieces and smaller batches
- Pallet-Load – robotic part loading directly from system pallets holding the raw workpieces
- Tower – a tower storage system for multiple jobs, with automatic gripper and workholding changes depending on configuration
- Wall – a modular storage and automation system serving several CNC machines
Retrofit an existing lathe or milling machine
Your machine does not need to be fully prepared for automation before a retrofit. Together with RoboJob and the machine supplier, we determine the robot interface, door operation and workholding required. Workspace access and the necessary safeguards are also included in the planning.
We assess the investment using your actual jobs: how often the parts are produced, how much setup time is required and how many additional machining hours can be used.
Plan automation alongside your new machine
When you buy a machine through the CNC Outlet Center, we can include RoboJob automation in the quotation. The machine, workholding and loading system are then coordinated from the outset. We agree the scope of supply, installation and schedule with the manufacturers involved.
Set up new jobs on the touchscreen
RoboJob software guides the operator through setting up the workpieces, grippers and storage positions. The 3D display provides a clear overview. Saved settings can be recalled for repeat jobs. Routine operation does not require knowledge of a robot programming language.
Your quotation for RoboJob automation
Tell us the machine model and control, together with the parts you want to produce automatically. Drawings, quantities and machining times help us select the system. We work with RoboJob to define the installation and quote for a retrofit or a new machine with automation.
Demonstrations, commissioning and service
We arrange demonstrations directly with RoboJob, for example at its Technology Center in Lehrensteinsfeld. Installation and operator training are agreed for your project. RoboJob provides further training and technical support after installation.
