EMCO: turning, milling and automation from a European machine portfolio
Founded in Austria in 1947, EMCO develops industrial machine tools for turning, milling and automated production. The range extends from compact CNC turning centers to 5-axis and large-part machining centers.
EMCO turning and milling machine range
CNC turning centers
- UNIVERSALTURN 50 – for turning, drilling and milling; depending on version with Y-axis and counter spindle
- MAXXTURN – from compact bar machines to heavy-duty machining of large shafts and chuck parts; model-dependent Y-axis, driven tools, tailstock or counter spindle
- EMCOTURN – cost-effective CNC lathes with turn-mill turret, optional Y-axis, tailstock or counter spindle
- S45 and S65 – compact 2-axis lathes with driven tools and tailstock for bar and chuck machining
Turn-mill centers with a milling spindle
- HYPERTURN – for complex parts; POWERMILL versions add milling spindle, B- and Y-axis, counter spindle and tool magazine
Vertical 3-axis and 4+1-axis machining centers
- EMCOMILL – vertical 3-axis centers for small and medium batches
- MAXXMILL 630 and 750 – compact milling centers for 5-sided or 4+1-axis machining
5-axis and travelling-column machining centers
- UMILL 630 to 1800 – for 5-axis milling, drilling, tapping and, depending on model, turning in one setup
- MMV 2000 to 6200 – 4- and 5-axis travelling-column machines for long, large and heavy workpieces
Large-part machining with EMCO MECOF
- ECOMILL and MECMILL – universal milling machines with horizontal spindle and large travels
- DYNAMILL, MEGAMILL and POWERMILL – portal and gantry machines for large components
HYPERTURN POWERMILL: turn-mill centers for complete machining
HYPERTURN POWERMILL combines turning, milling and drilling. Main and counter spindle, swivelling milling spindle, B- and Y-axis and a tool magazine support multi-face machining without changing machines.
The range extends from HYPERTURN 65 to HYPERTURN 100 and 200 POWERMILL, covering bar and chuck parts as well as large, long workpieces.
Which EMCO machine family fits the production task?
UNIVERSALTURN, EMCOTURN and S45/S65 cover universal turning. MAXXTURN extends into heavy-duty machining; HYPERTURN POWERMILL adds a milling spindle. EMCOMILL covers 3-axis work, MAXXMILL 5-sided machining, UMILL 5-axis work and MMV or EMCO MECOF large parts.
Automation with EMCO AX
EMCO combines its machines with standard and project-specific automation, including robot cells, workpiece and pallet handling, gantry loaders, bar feeders and loading or unloading systems. Configuration follows machine, part family and batch size.
Controls and EMCONNECT
Depending on the series, Siemens, FANUC or HEIDENHAIN controls are available. EMCONNECT adds machine status, production data, CAD/CAM access, integration and remote diagnostics.
Enquire about EMCO machines through the CNC Outlet Center
The CNC Outlet Center records workpiece, material, quantity, machining and automation, assigns the enquiry to a suitable machine family and passes it to EMCO.
Clarify availability, demonstration and scope of supply
Configuration, delivery time, demonstration and scope of supply are coordinated with EMCO. Control, spindle, axes, tool capacity, automation and services are defined before investing.
Detailed engineering and service by EMCO
EMCO handles process engineering, machine selection, commissioning and instruction. Factory or on-site training, preventive maintenance and remote support complement service.
Include financing and the existing machine
The CNC Outlet Center can also support financing and valuation or disposal of an existing machine.
